Is a consultation required?
Yes. A consultation is required before scheduling a new K-Tip installation so your hair, goals, desired density, texture, color, and package needs can be evaluated.
Is the consultation fee applied to my service?
Yes. If you move forward with your K-Tip installation, your consultation fee will be applied toward the total cost of your booked service.
How long do K-Tips last?
Most installations are worn for approximately 3–5 months. Longevity depends on natural hair growth, lifestyle, home care, and adherence to professional maintenance recommendations.
Can K-Tips be reused?
Once your K-Tips are removed, they are replaced with a fresh set of extension hair to keep your results looking their best. Depending on your package, preferred renewal pricing may be available.
Can I wear curly K-Tips?
Yes. Curly and other specialty textures are available as custom options. We’ll discuss curl pattern, pricing, availability, and ordering timelines during your consultation.
Can I wear my hair up?
Yes. Because K-Tips are placed individually throughout your hair, you can wear many ponytails, buns, and other updos. Placement will be customized around your styling preferences.
What maintenance is required?
K-Tips do not require traditional move-up appointments. They do require proper home care, regular professional wash-and-style appointments, refresher services when needed, and professional removal after approximately 3–5 months.
How should I prepare for my consultation?
For a phone consultation:
Submit clear photos of your hair in its natural state before your appointment. This helps evaluate your hair and create personalized recommendations.
For an in-person consultation:
Please arrive without extensions. When possible, come with your natural hair freshly washed and blown dry so it can be properly evaluated.
