K-Tips and I-Tips are installed in small individual sections. Each natural section must be appropriately sized and strong enough to support the extension attached to it.
If a section is too small, weak, or fragile for the planned weight, it may experience unnecessary tension. If the top or crown lacks sufficient density, the attachments may also be more difficult to conceal.
